2020年の国際大会について、国際420協会が発表した内容をそのまま掲載します。
Following the outbreak of COVID-19, the International 420 Class Association has been monitoring the current global health situation as well as guidance from World Sailing and the governments of our host countries.
The Class is in regular contact with the Organising Authorities of both the 2020 World Championships to be held in Crozon Morgat, France from 3-11 July 2020 and the Junior Europeans to be held in Golfo di Gaeta, Italy from 25 July – 1 August 2020.
The International 420 Class Association and the organizing authorities for our 2020 championships are fully committed to these events but clearly the health and well-being of the sailors, support personnel, officials and volunteers, is a top priority for the Class.
It is our intention that a final decision regarding the postponement or cancellation of these events will be made by the middle of April 2020. We appreciate your patience as we continue to monitor the situation but if anyone has any specific queries please contact us on office@420sailing.org

COVID-19（新型コロナウィルス）の発生後、国際420協会は、現在の世界の健康に関わる状況と、ワールドセーリング及びホスト国の政府からのガイダンスを注視しています。
当協会は、2020年7月3日〜11日にフランスのクロゾンで開催される2020年世界選手権と、2020年7月25日〜8月1日にイタリアのゴルフォディガエータで開催されるジュニアヨーロッパ選手権の両方の主催団体と定期的に連絡をとっています。
国際420協会と2020年チャンピオンシップの組織委員会は、これらのイベントに全面的に取り組んでいますが、選手、サポーター、役員、ボランティアの健康と安全が最優先であることを認識しております。
これらのイベントの延期またはキャンセルに関する最終決定は、2020年4月中旬までに発表する予定です。
